Expect a challenge. A few steep climbs, several technical creek crossings and large rock obstacles make this one of the best rides in the state. For the technical riders, Holy Schist is a must ride. Many small rock gardens and other obstacles as well as difficult climbs make this an enjoyable outing.

Wow. This trail has some of the most challenging single track in the state if you know where to look. It's well marked, but has little flow so it can be very easy to get turned around. This trail is a must for any mtbr looking for a great ride. Try to hook up with a local to guide you.

Single track loaded with tight switchbacks, steep technical climbs, and even a log creek crossing. This trail has great flow and is well maintained. It's hard to find, but well worth looking for. One of the best overall trails in Wisconsin. Don't miss this one.

Washburn Lake Trail

The trails are not well marked and it's easy to get turned around, but if you're looking for a technical ride, it's a great place to get lost. Tight switchbacks and rocky, root covered terrain. This trail doesn't seem to be ridden much but it should be. Great trail system.

Winter Park

Woven into a ski hill and disc golf course, this trail has fantastic single track that balances climbs and descents almost perfectly. The trail has great flow and amazing scenery as well. Part of the trail is closed for the '07 season which shortens the ride to about 3-4 miles. Still worth the trip.
