  • Hartman Creek State Park

    Currently there is 5 miles of single track. There is a completed beginner loop, and intermediate loop. There should be room for around 10 miles of trail when it's all done. Trails are fully benched, IMBA approved single track. It's is fast and fun. There are also another 7 miles of double track to added some miles to a day of riding. A state trail pass is required(same as northern and southern kettles). Also there are no open/closed dates. You just need to be mindful of hunting seasons. As for rain closures, we ask that you use your best judgement, as you should with all trails, but because the trails are built to handle rain they shed it well.

    The Nicolet Roche Mt Bike trail is a challenging XC mt bike trail that incorporates natural features (rugged terrain, boulders, logs, and down trees). All the technical trail features can be ridden around and are easily avoided. Important Note: riders are encouraged, heavily, not to ride while conditions are wet. No contact information is available to check for trail closings, so please check weather sites for recent rainfall in the area.

  • Nine Mile

    Wow. This trail has some of the most challenging single track in the state if you know where to look. It's well marked, but has little flow so it can be very easy to get turned around. This trail is a must for any mtbr looking for a great ride. Try to hook up with a local to guide you.

  • Peninsula State Park

    Plenty of moderately challenging single track to be found. Look for the 3 mile loop north of Middle Road for a more challenging ride. This isn't the most challenging trail in the state but it's a great break from shopping with the wife.

  • Standing Rocks

  • Whitetail Ridge

    Whitetail Ridge Trail is located in River Falls, WI. A mix of wooded singletrack and open field sections. Tight twisty singletrack, rock sections, steep climbs, fast downhills, and new technical features including bridges, teeters, and a cool wooden berm.

  • Winter Park

    Woven into a ski hill and disc golf course, this trail has fantastic single track that balances climbs and descents almost perfectly. The trail has great flow and amazing scenery as well. Part of the trail is closed for the '07 season which shortens the ride to about 3-4 miles. Still worth the trip.
