Beer Watch

Beer and mountain biking go hand in hand. A good part people we meet in the parking lot of any trail system have some sort of hoppy beverage. In Beer Watch, it's our goal, to inform and educate our viewers what is tasting good and worth picking up at at local liquor store or brew pub. Yes, it's hard work, but we are dedicated. Look for it soon!!.

New Belgium's, Ranger-American Pale Ale

Hops. Five years ago, they we're not my friend, but now...my best friend!! New Belgium's American Pale Ale, 'Ranger' is one of my BFFs . Fruity, citrus flavors hit your pallette first, followed by the dry hop slap in the face---oooh it hurts soo good. Anyone who drinks hoppy beer knows exactly what I'm talking about. Ranger found it's way into my cooler just recently and now has a permanenent place in my fridge. Ya gotta try this seasonal beer before it goes away.

Capital Brewery, Maibock

Maibocks, a springtime seasonal beer, are popping up in the liquor departments all over from a plethora of brewers.

Because we live in Wisconsin, we'd thought we'd try Capital Brewery's. This a pale version of a traditional bock. Very smooth with great depth of character. Try it with a brat, it makes a fantastic after-the-ride treat.

Capital Brewery only offers it through April. ABV 6.2%.
